where/ it is (there is a greater fiction)

sometimes it is really awkward attempting to account for what is there...
documenting the work below which i showed at the stevenson gallery in joburg recently- was such a task.... the problem of how to document...
it really looks like there is nothing, and i guess a major part of the "work" is nothing.... how is the work even visible? where is the work? what is the work?

this particular piece 'began' with the photo documentation of a previous installation "long live the immeterial ....effect no. 55" that is the photograph displayed on the dindow framed by the blue stained news paper sheets....
i forgot to document the piece from the outside!!!! (from the front)
these kind of feel like the background to it/ back stage/ in the meantime...
but how does one put it all in ones arms? (to say it starts here-and it end there)
the name of the show was "if a tree..."

i photographed 'the work' with my iphone... it somehow seemed appropriate... the images themselves are edited, i played around with the tones and shaddows so that some things will be more clear...
a fiction....
a tautology

revisiting...//hello again:'is it me you're looking for'

some work takes time to 'grow on me'... i will do it...think about it... maybe show it.... then i might hate it... or hate the photographic re-presentation/documentation of it... one such work... long live the immeterial effect no 55....from 2010...
i have just come across the documents.... and i am interested in them again....
